Earlier this year, eSeller Solutions was delighted to help Mark Norton, an Ebay shop owner who runs http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Dangleberry-Music, raise money for his local Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) as a way of saying thank you for saving his newborn son’s life a few years ago.
Mark’s idea was to hold a raffle, and eSeller Solutions donated the prize of a £1,750 revamp of the winner’s eBay store, as well as a brand newly designed website from scratch.
We’re pleased to say that the contest managed to raise over £1,000, which Mark was able to donate to the SCBU. Here’s a message from him that we wanted to share:
“A massive thanks to all those who have donated money, and HUGE thanks to Andre at eSeller Solutions for offering the prize”.
“This is a cause very close to our hearts for obvious reasons, and most people who have donated will never see the benefit that the money will give as they live nowhere near the unit, nor will their families ever use the facilities. Very, very generous!”
“We’ve raised a total sum of £1062.99 on this draw, and tonight we hold a gig night with 5 bands, and a prize draw with over £1000 of prizes, so fingers crossed for a £2000 total!
“Mark (and my wife Kirstie, twins Sam and Ciara, and little’ un Phoebe)”
For the prize winner, Katie Daniels, we not only revamped her Ebay store but we also created a new website for her, which you can check out here http://www.celloexpress.co.uk/.
